T'ai Ji (also spelled T'ai Chi) is an ancient Chinese martial art and exercise that is used today to bring peace, harmony and relaxation to our sometimes stressed and out of balance world. The flowing movements of T'ai Ji are designed to promote relaxed muscle control improving balance and blood circulation throughout the body.  Recent studies confirm the natural healing ability of T'ai Ji showing that it brings ease to arthritis symptoms, prevents falls and reduces blood pressure.  Through learning one of the many forms of T'ai Ji, the practitioner steps from the physical benefits of the form into the internal foundation of T'ai Ji which promotes inner healing and peace through self-awareness.   Simply put, as we cultivate relaxation, we increase the life force within our bodies, which in turn promotes better health.

Chris Campbell started his T'ai Ji training over nineteen years ago and has been a student of Chinese philosophy for over 28 years.  He is a dedicated student and continually learning from Chungliang Al Huang of the Living Tao Foundation, an internationally known T'ai Ji Master.  Chris's expertise is in his ability to share on many levels the essence of the T'ai Ji form in simple and sensible terms which allows the participants to take home with them practical knowledge of the form that they can use.  Also in a way of expanding the T'ai Ji learning, Chris will share the related aspects of ch'i gong, music, meditation, feng shui, calligraphy and philosophy to bring greater light to the understanding of this beautiful and healthful exercise.
